Et quand le vent souffle...

The very cool keys to our house/the garden gate. It's very interesting. Here, all of the houses have gates that you have to get into in order to get to the house. I'm not sure if this is to aid in their privacy or for safety as this is a city. Perhaps both.

Me and Minette (Hedwig) the kitty. Minette is the French word for kitty or kittycat.

Cait and me at the Red Sky (the bar we go to). Cait is eating a steak-frites sandwich. Unlike what we learned in French I (where we thought that steak-frites was more like meat with fries on a plate), they're actually both on a big piece of baguette together.

Wednesday, we took a guided tour of the Palais des Papes. Unfortunately, taking pictures inside the actual rooms is prohibited, but we were thankfully allowed to take pictures outside:

Entrance of the Palais. Seriously, this thing is HUGE. It's actually two different Palais built one after the other.

A view of the windows on the interior of the courtyard. In fact, it reminded me of Hogwarts from the HP movies with all the portraits.

A close-up view of one of the windows in the interior courtyard of the Palais.

Finally, a larger view of the interior courtyard. Look at the people. That should give you some idea as to the scope of this building. It's gigantic.
